The band have dedicated themselves to NeoProgRock and reviewers often compare them to the «big ones» like IQ ,Pendragon and Arena.Again and again THE VOW manage to fascinate the listeners with their music and to take them along on a musical journey.
Started as a 2-men studio project at the end of 1998, THE VOW has changed into a classical 5-men band in the meantime after having released the CD´s «Another World» (released in 2000), «Trojan» (released in 2002) and «Devil In Disguise» (released in 2005).
On their 3rd album «Devil In Disguise», released in June 2005, THE VOW were supported by Manfred Wirth, drums. Furthermore a lot of new equipment was used for recording the CD.
Now the time had come for THE VOW´s stage comeback and they were crazy about presenting their catalogue — 3 CD´s containing melodious NeoProg paired with bombastic symphonic rock — to their audience.
With Uli Knoerr (keys) and Mathias Kuhn (bass guitar) two brilliant musicians were found to complete THE VOW.
