30 Day Warranty hails from Richmond, Virginia and writes catchy, energetic songs blending pop, «emo», punk, and rock, drawing from diverse influences such as Green Day, The Smashing Pumpkins, Midtown, Coheed and Cambria, The Liars Academy, The Stryder, Jimmy Eat World, Nirvana, Ann Beretta and Strike Anywhere. Forming in mid. 1999, the band began playing shows and writing original music right away. Willing to play anywhere and everywhere, 30 Day Warranty did just that. Many shows later found the band opening up for acts such as Strike Anywhere, River City High, Face to Face, Wesley Willis, Ann Beretta, The Ataris, Digger, TSOL, The Juliana Theroy and many more, along with a spot on the 2003 Van’s Warped Tour. The band has independantly released 3 albums, The Songs Before EP (2000), Together We Stand (2002) and The Damage Has Been Done (2003). This most recent album has marked a turning point in songwriting, maturity and style for the band and has already been well received. Steady radio play all over the east coast as well as in Canada has also helped. The band has toured the east coast twice as well as constant weekend tours in support of it’s music, with all events being booked by the band memebers. Their persistance and dedication has won them loyal fans all over as well as positive reviews from zines and labels. The band continues to play just about everywhere, hoping to take things are far as possible doing what they love the most.
