O-Shen, is a white boy who grew up in the tribes of the island nation of Papua New Guinea. He rose to third world super stardom when he became the first person to rap and sing reggae in the native languages of the pacific islands. Leaving his Island home Morobe, Papua New Guinea to attend high school in America, he experienced major culture shock, which lead him to get involved in crime and gangs, and at 19 years old, was sentenced to years in the penitentiary for armed robbery.

In prison O-Shen nurtured his talent in freestyle rap, and playing the drums. After prison in America he returned to the islands to rise to iconic status among the island people as their musical ambassador.

O-Shen is a famous musical artist in Hawaii, where he now resides.

Like Bob Marley was to Jamaica, O-Shen is to the people of the Pacific island countries. O-Shen is one of the most versatile artists and song writers of modern reggae and rap by mixing American rap, Jamaican, Raga, singing and native chanting.

O-Shen has had his songs used on television shows and films such as Adam Sandler’s 50 First Dates. O-Shen has done collaborations with Jamaican artists like Elephant man, 3rd World, Black, Uhuru.

O-Shen is a breathtaking live performer keeping his audience entertained with his soulful lyrics crowned with his captivating good looks and sculpted body adorn with body art that reflects his native tribal tattoos.
